Nacido en la Ciudad de México. Estudió la Licenciatura en Actuación en la Escuela Nacional de Arte Teatral del INBA. Su interés principal en el Arte está en la colaboración con diversas disciplinas artísticas. Lo cual le ha permitido experimentar en las artes escénicas ,la danza, la música y las artes visuales. Ha participado en más de 40 obras entre las que destacan su colaboración con compañías y colectivos como: Los endebles, Género menor, Teatro Alamar, Teatro del mundo, Los Colochos, Proyecto Perla, Teatro entre 2, Arde el silencio, Teatro inercia, La bomba teatro, y Tercer Teatro del que es miembro fundador.
En el 2013 viaja a la ciudad de Vilna para participar en el Laboratorio Escénico dirigido por Sergei Ostrenko(IUGTE)en el Teatro Ruso de Arte Dramático de Lithuania.
En 2015 viaja a Aarhus ,Dinamarca para una residencia en el centro cultural Godsbanen,el work in progress “Dead tree gives no shelter” se presentó en la Real Academia de Arte Dramático en Londres.
Formó parte de la compañía mexicana de Danza Butoh 0.618.A partir de entonces incorpora al Butoh como referencia estética y filosófica en su trabajo. Continua la exploración dancística con el colectivo MUTOK,recibiendo el apoyo del PACMYC de las culturas populares,con el que realizaron un proyecto de video-danza llamado Mercados Flotantes realizado en su totalidad en el mercado de Jamaica y dirigido por el artista contemporaneo Taniel Morales .También recibieron la beca de estudios del INBA para impartir talleres de danza Butoh enfocados a diversos sectores de la sociedad y de la comunidad artística en sedes como la Escuela Naional de Arte Teatral(ENAT-CNA),el Centro de Investigación para la Coreografía(CICO),La Central del Pueblo,La Fábrica-Centro Cultural en Querétaro. Realizo un taller de danza Butoh en WUK kulturhaus,en Viena(2011).Ese mismo año también impartió un taller de Danza-Performance en el Instituto de Cultura de la Embajada de México en Viena. Y en la residencia artística que tuvo lugar en la ciudad de Huallien en Taiwan el taller se enfocó en las mujeres indígenas del lugar. Actualmente explora los límites del teatro y el performance en asesorías para artistas escénicos.
Comenzó a experimentar en las artes visuales con el colectivo Art twisted projects ,participó en el proyecto No performance Needed con artistas plásticos y escénicos de México y Austria (Festival Schmiede, Hallein-Austria 2007) apoyado por CONACULTA.En el 2011 participó con el performance ¡DADADA!en la habitación D del Museums Quartier en el marco del evento Arts Birthday,organizado por el colectivo FLUXUS en la ciudad de Viena.Ese mismo año es invitado por la Universidad de Artes Aplicadas de la misma ciudad,para presentar los performances:Zoomatico y Amor ciego,dentro de la presentación del taller coordinado por Erwin Wurm y Elfie Semotan.
Es la cabeza del proyecto autogestivo BICEFALO enfocado en la colaboración multidisciplinaria. Su primer montaje, PRÓLOGO, Testimonios de la nada(2009 ) fue el inicio de una búsqueda de métodos ,conceptos y temas sociales que tiempo después de reflejarían en proyectos como: :El Luto nos viene bien (2016) donde se abordó el tema de la migración a nivel mundial. Jackie and Jako in Wounderland (2011) con el colectivo internacional DADADA!!!Con el que participó en el Festival Fringe en la ciudad de Taipei y con el que prepara su nuevo proyecto VIVAS a estrenarse en el festival Teatro para el fin del mundo,en México y Uruguay en invierno del 2017.
Stage artist. He studied at the Escuela Nacional de Arte Teatral (ENAT) in Mexico City. He has worked in more than 40 Theater plays working with companies such as: Los Endebles, Género Menor ,Proyecto Perla and Teatro Alamar. On 2013 he traveled to Vilnius ,Lithuania, to participate in the International Lab of Physical Teather at Lietuvos Rusu Dramos Teatras directed by Sergei Ostrenko(IUGTE).
He had performed in Theater festivals in Ecuador Cánada and France.
On 2015 he traveled to Aarhus,Denmark ,to have an artistic residency at Godsbanen with the Project:”Dead tree gives no shelter”.
In 2004, he was part of the Butoh dance company 0.618 in Mexico under the direction of Jaime Razzo participating in several dance festivals, obtaining National institutional recognition and grants.
In 2009 he founded Mutok collective. This group was focused in developing an experimental work integrating video and Butoh dance. They won a scholarship of artistic education given by the National Institute of Fine Arts in Mexico City.
Later on he was invited to be part of the multicultural and multidisciplinary hybrid group ArTwisted Projects where he could combine his corporal interests and skills with the Performance art. Together with three Austrian artists and three other Mexican artists he travelled to perform in the frame of the Schmiede Festival in Hallein, Salzburg in 2007.
In 2010 he started a series of Performances with the visual artist Alessa Esteban,shown at the Univeristy of Applied Arts in Vienna, Austria for the workshop with Erwin Wurm and Elfie Semotan, later on he was invited to show the perfomance again and to participate in an Elfie Semotan’s photo shooting in 2010,those photos were published on EIKON international magazine of photo and media 2011.
The very same year he was invited to participate in ¡DADADA! International collective, at Fluxus art´s birthday event in the atmosphere of Museums Quartier, again with artists from different nationalities and disciplines like Delphine Mae from Taiwan, Niko Maly, Austrian musician and Stefanie Wuschitz visual artist.They beccme a working group.
In 2011 ,he went to Taiwan to perform: Jackie and Jako in Wounderland with DADADA!!! Collective for the 4th Taipei Fringe Festival in Wolong 29, also at Dogpig Art in Kaohsiung ,and the solo performanceNothing to do in Artopia galery Public art Festival of Dong Hwa Hualien University. His personal project “BICEFALO” is based on the colaboration with artists from different disciplines and countries searching for real cultural exchange developing new colective imaginaries around the Identity and the contrasts of the social realities.
The 4th project “VIVAS” in a collaboration with DADADA!!! Will be ready on winter 2017.
